How To Speed Up Firefox

Firefox in a advanced browser like chrome. It has many addons and apss like as in chrome but however these things slows down the firefox web browser. And o no one likes slow speed , the young generation what a blazing speed.The browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable some of the hacks in your firefox as shown below, it will make several requests at once, which can make page loading faster.So here is how you can speed up your firefox web browser.

  1. Open firefox
  2. In the address bar type about:config and press enter. A warning might appear in that just click i will be careful button below the warning.
  3. Now a page will open and it will have a wide search box in that search box search for the following one by one
    browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs
    network.http.max-connections
    network.http.max-connections-per-server
    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy
    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server
    network.http.pipelining
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
    network.http.proxy.pipelining
    network.http.request.timeout
  4. Then double click on them one by one and change its value to as shown below and click ok option after changing the values.

    browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs – true
    network.http.max-connections – 48
    network.http.max-connections-per-server – 16
    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy – 8
    network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server – 4
    network.http.pipelining – true
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests – 100
    network.http.proxy.pipelining – true
    network.http.request.timeout – 300
  5. Then right click anywhere on that page ,point on new option and then click on integer option
  6. Name it
    nglayout.initialpaint.delay
    and change its value to 0 and then click ok
  7. After doing these steps firefox will be faster than before.
